Yes, this is personal!

1 day & 18 hours and my journey begins! Well, my journey began years ago. Those that know me will understand what you are about to read. "My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will slide in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... WOW.. What a Ride!!"

Today I spoke with a very nice lady from the Ironton Newspaper, asking questions about my reasons for my ride. Well again I got choked up and had a hard time answering her. By now everyone knows this ride is very personal for me. I have lost dear friends to cancer & have friends that are survivors. This ride is In Memory of Vonda Moyer, Betty Moyer, Raymond Swetlin, Mary Camarato, Bob Schlick, Carolyn Erickson, Sue Lorenz, Marj Cashin, Kenny Abbott ,Robert (Scooty) Ranker, Helen Holtz Gallagher, Christine Holtz, Kate Holtz Carley, and Maureen Friel Holtz, all lost to cancer, so YES this is personal! My ride is also In Honor of Jackie Panuto, Adalyn Lutz, Beth Holtz Palermo, Lisa O'Malley, Patti Baumgartner, Doris Kramer, Dondalene Webb, Chris Zoeller, Carolyn Harper, Sue Wittdon, Denny Bobock, Jack Johnson and Cindy Rossi----all fought hard and are survivors! YES, this is personal!
