Getting ready, can't sleep, doing my wash, packing, preparing to take my dogs to their keepers for a month-- WOW, a lot to do. Finals on my motorcycle & finishing jobs ( floor covering and my dog training lessons). I am actually enjoying all of it! Can't wait to see my family in Ironton and Illinois, and my friends and brothers on the road. Great support from the community & my family. I want everyone to know that I spoke with the "Fight Like a Girl" team captain over the weekend and she has put together a wonderful group of people, and is thrilled with her support from all her team members. Way to go Lisa! I am still getting donations and letters and short notes in the mail from loved ones of family members they have lost. When I get these messages I take the time to read every one and YES tears come to my eyes every time! It has been a tremendous journey for me already. I have learned so much about cancer and the effects it has on many, many people. We need to beat this!!
